About glass window sills
A seamless alternative to wood, stone or uPVC.
A toughened glass window sill gives you a clean, hygienic, non-porous surface — easier to wipe down than wood or stone, and far more striking than plastic. Most common briefs: kitchen windows where the sill sits next to or above a hob; bathroom windows where condensation rots wooden sills; new-build kitchens where the client wants a single coherent material run from worktop to splashback to sill.
We match the sill to your splashback or worktop colour — any RAL, Pantone or paint chip. Standard thickness is 10mm toughened safety glass with polished edges and a small drip-edge detail at the front, templated on site for an exact fit.

FAQs
Common questions
Will a glass window sill match my splashback exactly?
Yes — we make the sill from the same back-painted toughened glass as your splashback, in exactly the same colour. The result is a seamless visual run from worktop to splashback to sill.
Will the glass crack from sunlight or hot water?
Toughened glass is rated for kitchen and bathroom use, including direct sunlight and condensation. It will not crack from normal heat or moisture exposure.
Can the sill be replaced over an existing wooden sill?
Yes — we template over your existing sill (after removing it for measurement) and fit the new glass directly. No structural work needed for most installs.
How long does it take?
2-4 weeks from template to install, depending on finish. Often supplied alongside a splashback order at no extra lead time.
